Now that you’ve learned how to process your own locally grown flours (see 10/31 class description), learn how to use them in baked goods. Trained pastry chef Annie Wegner LeFort will share and demonstrate recipes for using homemade alternative flours—such as acorn and sunchoke—to make both sweet and savory baked goods. Come and taste some incredible new flavors and learn to prepare unique dishes you can serve at your upcoming holiday gatherings. Samples will be provided. (This class is a complement to October’s “Making Alternative Flours,” though that course is not a prerequisite.)
