Home Gardening Class - Harvesting Techniques - identify peak harvest time, post-harvest handling, proper storage
August 25, 9 a.m. - noon
The best part of the gardening season is in our midst… harvest time! Learn how to determine when your carrots are ready to be picked, how to remove a cucumber from the vine, and how to extend the shelf life of your fresh produce with proper storage techniques. Also enjoy a garden meal with the fresh produce we harvest!
