Event Description
We were planning to have today's hub meeting outside, as the UEC is closed today. However there is a 40% chance of Thunderstorms and severe weather. Therefore we are cancelling the meeting today. We apologize for the late notice.
This Meeting is rescheduled for July 23rd.
Preparing your home and family for an extended power outage, natural disaster, or even economic collapse requires many common elements. These elements are, simply put, ways to get you safely through the predicament. These include water, food, warmth, cash or barter items, and many other elements, including reliance on an established community of trust. Join Transition Milwaukee at our May Hub meeting for an overview of how to prepare for the unexpected.

Fascinating subject but I cannot attend as it is the time of year we need here to get all of our gardens in. Hopefully this topic will be revisited often.
