DESCRIPTION:Listen up Gang! I am organizing a concert for industrial h
 emp as part of the National Hemp History Week observance sponsored by 
 Vote Hemp and The Hemp Industries Assoc. This day-long event will be h
 eld at the Rotary Pavilion at Hart Park (68th and State St) in Wauwato
 sa on Sunday, June 10th from noon to 6:00 p.m.  I have great bands bo
 oked.  The National Hemp History Week organizers are supporting me wi
 th hemp samples. I'll be talking about the healthy benefits of hemp as
  fuel, food, and fiber between songs and sets from the stage.  “Hem
 p was once an important crop for George Washington, Thomas Jefferson a
 nd thousands of American farmers across the country, including farmers
  here in Wisconsin until it was outlawed completely in 1970 by the Con
 trolled Substances Act. Hemp History Week will help residents of Milwa
 ukee learn about our rich hemp heritage as well as the tremendous envi
 ronmental and economic benefits that would come with growing hemp in A
 merica once again. A primary objective of Hemp History Week is to advo
 cate for a federal policy change while sending a strong, positive mess
 age to President Barack Obama and Congress to end the ban on hemp farm
 ing and let farmers grow the versatile and profitable crop. In 2010 an
 d 2011, the campaign generated thousands of postcards and online petit
 ion signatures to the President and Congress. Representatives Ron Paul
  (R-Texas), Dennis Kucinich (D-Ohio), Earl Blumenauer (D-Oregon) and m
 any other members of Congress support legislation in favor of a federa
 l policy change. A companion Senate bill is expected to be introduced 
 later this year. Join us for a fun time. Bring your dancing shoes and
