Join Permaculturist & AgroForester, Mark Shepard, to discover how to graft an apple tree seedling on to your favorite variety, or change one variety to another. Learn the art of grafting, about rootstock and scionwood, and then graft your own fruit tree to take home and plant. This workshop includes rootstock, scionwood, knife, adhesives, and bands. Class Limit is 25 people. Call Riveredge at 800-287-8098 to pre-register.

Pasture Walk at Sauve Terre Farm 2:00 – 3:30 pm – “Experience a Permaculture Farm”
Following lunch break, there will be a Pasture Walk tour of the 80 acre Sauve Terre Farm in West Bend. The Mantoan family owns this Certified Organic farm where you can see how pasture, cows, trees, chickens and bees all help each other thrive using a permaculture model. Limited to the first 20 who sign up. Refreshments from local organic farms will be provided.
