I wonder if we possibly missed a good opportunity to let people know about Transition Milwaukee. I was at the Bayview Bash on Saturday Sept.18 and saw booths by the Bay View Historical Society, a local church, the Society for Creative Anachronism, and the Bay View Business Association. I think we would have fit right in. We do, however, need to develop some literature for quick and easy and inexpensive distribution - a "handout" people can take away with them to use for a bookmark or whatever and to remind them of us. Anybody else who would like to work on this? (I should peruse the groups already going. Perhaps others are already working on this.) -- Darlene Williams
I was told by VGI that is was very expensive so that was why I didn't bring it up. maybe what I heard was wrong. we do have a flier already, but It would be awesome if you joined in helping plan being at events etc. we were talking about having a monthly organizational meeting could you come another monday?
Except being retired and old (66) and basically carless, I make a practice of not going out after dark - so in the winter I'm not out and about much after 5 PM. I _am_ available during daytime hours though!
