Hello all,

Come on by 325 E Euclid Avenue in Bay View a week from this Saturday (November 26th). All are welcome. We (Myself, my brother and attendants) will be making a DIY solar heater, in hopes of heating a garage being used for food production/aquaponics. Timing flexible, call me if you have any questions at (414)217-6222. We are also planning on doing more events here, there are a lot of logistical issues to work out on the whole project later on, and we are currently coming up with (and could use some help, even if you have no experience) solutions and brainstorming. Bring food or beverage to share if you like. We don't know how long it's going to take, show up at your leisure, call if it's later on to make sure we are still there.

We will start at 10, probably be there at least 4 hours. Come and go at your leisure, call if it's later on in the day to make sure we are still around. This is posted on Events calendar.

Hope to see you there!
Alex

Jackie - That'd be great!  I am coordinating the workshops for PDW again.  I'll contact you via email to set that up.  If anyone else is interested in running a workshop during PDW (June 25-July 3) please email me at natalie.berland@gmail.com.

I'd like to schedule another foraging walk to coincide with Power Down Week.  This year it would be great if there were one or two more leaders with knowledge of wild edibles to help lead the smaller groups.  Email me if you're interested or know someone who might be.

Hello all:

There are a few reskilling activities going on around Milwaukee that I wanted you to be aware of.  None of these are specifically sponsored by TM.  Some of these might have a charge.

1. Cheese Making-Beyond the Basics! Gouda and Cheddar - April 3, all Day.  Sheboygan, WI (Check the TM events calendar)

2. Wild Eats-the class: Foraging for Wild Edibles - April 5 from 6pm - 8:30 pm, Milwaukee (Check the TM events calendar)

3. Clay Pot Irrigation Workshop - April 9th from 9:30-11am @ Sweet Water Organics ($20.00) _http://sweetwater-organic.com/contact_

Just trying to alert people of opportunities!

I realize that this is high summer and everyone is busy with summer projects but what has been done so far on the reskilling issue. Just trying to get up to speed again. Bryce Ruddock
