Why are you interested in the Transition movement?
Community Engagement, Empowerment, Collaboration, Idea Sharing! (opening communication) and Implementation; corresponds with Urban Studies
How are you currently involved in the Transition movement?
I have attended a few meetings, and hope to become more active within the next couple years!
What skills, talents, and resources do you bring to the Transition movement?
I earned my Permaculture Design certification in 2009 and have been a teaching assistant for another PDC, so I bring some understanding to the table, but don't know how and where to apply it. I am more motivated when working with others. I enjoy and encourage the sharing of ideas, participating in brainstorming, and succinctly deciding on next steps.
Which topics within Transition most interest you, and what are you most interested in getting out of your involvement in the Transition Movement?
community engagement and revitalization; I especially relate to the food justice, water, and transportation topics. I am just excited to be a part of the community; growing my network, gaining experience in group dynamics/communicating, and the opportunities provided are much appreciated benefits as well!
