"Gee, I think I did a solar site assessment at this property, or a similar one anyway. But I agree that a garden is a better use of this space, since it's only sunlit half the day. I love the coffee bags."
Why are you interested in the Transition movement?
It's important for the future of the human race, including my children. And I like the positive, hopeful approach of Rob Hopkins' book.
How are you currently involved in the Transition movement?
Learning, reading the Handbook, meeting w/neighborhood group, doing my own gardening, reading up on biodynamics, working on "building resilience" in my kids, brainstorming in my own little mind.
What skills, talents, and resources do you bring to the Transition movement?
I'm open to doing informational workshops on renewable energy, particularly solar, since that is my area of expertise. Also interested in exchanging seeds/seedlings, teaching about vermicomposting, possibly participating in a neighborhood home improvement co-op.
Which topics within Transition most interest you, and what are you most interested in getting out of your involvement in the Transition Movement?
