Are you the one organizing the Book and Film List?
I have a few more if so!
26. Flow: How did a handful of corporations steal our water?
Water is the very essence of life, sustaining every being on the planet.
'Flow' confronts the disturbing reality that our crucial resource is
dwindling and greed just may be the cause.
27. Who killed the electric car: This is a 2006 documentary
film that explores the creation, limited commercialization, and subsequent
destruction of the battery electric vehicle in the United States,
specifically the General Motors EV1 of the mid 1990s. The film explores
the roles of automobile manufacturers, the oil industry, the US
government, the Californian government, batteries, hydrogen vehicles, and
consumers in limiting the development and adoption of this technology.
Hope you're the right one since I'm depositing this here! (:
Hi Beth - welcome! Did you happen to go to Whitnall High? If not, it's the wrong person. Either way, our next HUB meeting is Monday, April 26th, 6:30 PM at the Urban Ecology Center. Hope to see you there.
