rather than escape the city I want to help create sustainability & artful communities of hope as an alternative to self destructive culture
How are you currently involved in the Transition movement?
Victory garden film, building raised beds,swaping seeds growing food,riding my bike everyday, composting & vermiculture, teaching kids how to make aquaponics systems :) about to finish a year of service as an environmental health educator at 16th st community health clinic
What skills, talents, and resources do you bring to the Transition movement?
raised bed garden & compost building ,seed bombs, small scale aquaponics system building, film, welding- bike trailers! , rain barrel building and installation, grey water filtration , rain garden building puppetry, & lots of ecology curriculum games from the past year
Which topics within Transition most interest you, and what are you most interested in getting out of your involvement in the Transition Movement?
protecting our rivers , lake and local water sources, growing food together & sustainability as a common goal, sharing & building skills together
