Awareness about Peak Oil, self- reliance, community building, urban permaculture, rainwater harvesting and how pattern language connects with group process and interactions.

Participated in Midwest Renewable Energy Association Energy and Sustainability Fair 2010 and attended workshops on Urban Permaculture, Transition Town, Natural Step and composting. Participated in Power Down Week in Milwaukee. Core member of Transition Milwaukee Water Working Group.

Is this really about Fire Hydrants?

Shorewood—There is a considerable amount of confusion about the

'real reason’ behind Milwaukee's plan to no longer allow fire hydrant

watering of community gardens, because, whenever we are dealing with a

Homemade Bike Trailers: A Simple Way to Travel Riverwest

Riverwest--I took to my sister's birthday party a big pot of veggies and a large cake pan, a basket of gifts and a few other bags of miscellaneous stuff, all in my bike trailer designed for hauling kids.
