Hi Christie,

Thank you for the welcome! I am planning on attending the orientation and hub meeting this coming Monday, and am looking forward to meeting new people in the community (I am a recent newcomer to Milwaukee), and getting more involved.  See you there!

Hi Christie,
Sorry for not getting back to you very quickly. I'd love to get together. I don't drink, but I'd hang with ya while you had a beer, just so we could get in a good chat. I might be in Milwaukee this weekend. Let me know where you might be. I don't have a cell or I'd give you that. But I do check emails every day. ackirwin@gmail. Be in touch!

Thanks for the welcome. I was at one meeting last year, but life has been a bit crazy since then with work and school and the little homestead. I did run into a few folks on facebook and farm aid through :) I'll try to get down there again soon.

Hi Christie,

GLOBAL TRANSITION IN ACTION has added your 'Rain Water Collection Training Workshop' to our collection of new and clever ideas for re-use by other localities globally. Great idea! It's now posted to the news feeds on approximately 260 websites, including Twitter and Facebook.

You can read more about the intentions of GTIA -- http://transitioninaction.com/forum/topics/global-transition-in-action

Good luck with your event!

If you're interested, you are welcome to use this link below to create a group (perhaps "Rain Water Collectors" or some better name of your choice) to turn your idea into an ongoing focus of attention for the Global Transition community. Let me know if you want to pursue this and have questions. http://transitioninaction.com/groups/group/new

Christie,
I am still recovering so probably should not come this evening. I want to do the online training that happens tomorrow at noon. I learned about it on facebook. But to which site do I go to participate? A woman in Racine contacted me today about starting a transition group there with Rees Roberts. She wanted to know about the online training as well.
