Why are you interested in the Transition movement?

When I look towards the future I want a decent life for my kids. Not sure that can happen if we keep at it the way we're going.

How are you currently involved in the Transition movement?

Individually. I'm interested in alternative energy and local (homegrown/raised) food, but don't have the skill set for the technical aspects of alt. energy. Indeed, my technical skills are stretched just in the food production I do-my aquaponics systems could use tweaking.

What skills, talents, and resources do you bring to the Transition movement?

Raising chickens, aquaponics, gardening, dehydrating, canning, sewing, soap making, making do.

Which topics within Transition most interest you, and what are you most interested in getting out of your involvement in the Transition Movement?

Alternative energy is my highest interest and lowest skill, but I'm also pretty interested in collaborative projects of any kind.
