Why are you interested in the Transition movement?
I am a certified Permaculture Designer, through Midwest Permaculture who lives in West Allis and am looking to meet with other permaculturists in my area. I am also looking to help in any way.
How are you currently involved in the Transition movement?
Trying to help West Allis transition out of an industrial community towards a permaculture community. I volunteer for the West Allis Community Garden Committee where we try to look to build more gardens and green spaces within our community. We are also helping the senior citizens homes and schools build and develop their gardens. I have also submitted a Permaculture Design for a 'Wild West Allis' Community Teaching Garden. The city loved the idea and is currently looking to find space to build such.
What skills, talents, and resources do you bring to the Transition movement?
Certified Permaculture Designer, plus a wide skill set. I have worked in entertainment, event operations & management, coffee store management, and I also have worked at an ISO9000 CNC machine shop at home during the summers I attended college at Winona State University for a Bachelor of Arts in Music with an emphasis in Viola Performance.
