Why are you interested in the Transition movement?

I'm interested in building community to learn and share skills and to help myself and my community be in the best position to weather the upcoming societal upheavals caused by the decline of energy resources, the crumbling economies, soil depletion, etc.

How are you currently involved in the Transition movement?

Helped start Transition Town Media (Media, PA). Have attended TM steering group.

What skills, talents, and resources do you bring to the Transition movement?

Excel and financial/budgeting skills, a home for gatherings of 12 max, member of Milwaukee Friends Meeting, getting involved in MICAH-Milwaukee Inner-city Congregations Allied for Hope (willing to connect these orgs to TM), library of books and some DVDs on topic of many things connected to Transition movement

Which topics within Transition most interest you, and what are you most interested in getting out of your involvement in the Transition Movement?

Economy--macro and micro (personal), spiritual sustainability, community health care--alternatives to current extremely costly systems due to private interests in health care
