Why are you interested in the Transition movement?
We need to fix what's broke! Together!
How are you currently involved in the Transition movement?
I own a small nursery on 58th and Vliet. I can grow seedlings for transplant in the spring. Westside Garden Center.
What skills, talents, and resources do you bring to the Transition movement?
Seed starting, soil making, solar panel installation, rock hard abs.
Which topics within Transition most interest you, and what are you most interested in getting out of your involvement in the Transition Movement?

Also, your idea sounds great about movie hosting. I know the Times is great for events like that. We're working on getting a group of people to headup local/neighborhood screenings. Have a list of documentaries and a list of people in the neighborhood? That's all we need, really.

If you want to set up a basic gardening class schedule for this/next season, or would just like to host meetings there. Let me know! Pull together a schedule and we will start posting and tossing the word out there.

Yes! October 20 sounds great. Let me know what you want me to talk about. Also, I would absolutely enjoy hosting groups at the greenhouse. We can also work with Larry Widen who owns the Times Cinema right across the street to show movies on the big screen. Sound cool?

1. I noticed you understand how to install solar panels. I'm assembling a panel of experts on October 20th at the UEC about Living Off the Grid. Would you care to talk about solar panels, how to install...or offer your services?
2. In the future the Steering Committee will be designing programs for reskilling community members. Would you be willing to hold courses at your gardening shop on planting/gardening/soil building...etc?
