Would like to connect with local people and groups involved in sustainability and permaculture.
How are you currently involved in the Transition movement?
I am a horticulture instructor at Gateway Technical College in Kenosha, WI where I teach sustainable land practices and teach a permaculture design cetrtification course
What skills, talents, and resources do you bring to the Transition movement?
30 years experience as a professional horticulture eduxator specializing in sustainable practices, plant identificationn, use and care, greenhouse production, use of beneficial insects in protected culture, public speaker, writes on sustainability issues
Which topics within Transition most interest you, and what are you most interested in getting out of your involvement in the Transition Movement?
permaculture, food production, alternative energy and greenhouse growing

Time: 6:00pm

Witness for Peace is organizing a People-to-People licensed trip that will allow U.S. citizens to legally travel to Cuba. This trip is designed for people who are interested on learning about the Cuban people, their education programs, political and social history and their historical and fascinating colonial landmarks. Participants will gain insights into Cuba’s life-long education; primary, secondary and universities. People will also be able to stroll through World Heritage cities and experience the rich heritage of music and dance that Cuba is renowned for.           http://www.witnessforpeace.org/
