Why are you interested in the Transition movement?
For over 20 years, the MREA has worked to promote renewable energy, energy efficiency and sustainable living. We see that all these issues of sustainability are tied together. While we encourage our decision makers and elected officials to lead on sustainability issues, we have seen that it is key to make changes in our own personal lives. We can all lead by example, and do something today.
How are you currently involved in the Transition movement?

The MREA offers our knowledge and training on renewable energy technologies. We offer workshops, information and events for the general public as well as professionals.

The Midwest Renewable Energy Association has an office in Milwaukee! The MREA is increasing its training and education in southeast Wisconsin. We are working to spread the word about renewable energy and energy efficiency. We offer workshops and information for home and business owners. We also traing the professional installers and site assessors.
