Profile Information

Why are you interested in the Transition movement?
The vision of the post peak oil lifestyle expressed through the Transition movement matches well with the agrarian, naturalist survival skills and skills of technological adaptation and basic construction that I have grown up with and learned my whole life. Being a part of Transition Milwaukee makes me feel like I am helping to grow a larger community of people who can identify with the lifestyle I am familiar with. I also believe very strongly in the idea that cultural change in resource use and reconnection with the Earth is truly necessary for Humanity's survival into the future.
How are you currently involved in the Transition movement?
Volunteered with Victory Garden Blitz Day, Power Down Week, Energy Independence Day, Riverwest 24hour Bike Race. Member of TM Water Work Group. Attends monthly hub meetings.
What skills, talents, and resources do you bring to the Transition movement?
35 year history in and knowledge of Milwaukee. Independent Contractor in Carpentry, Remodeling and Painting.
