Why are you interested in the Transition movement?
I am deeply committed to building smart, sustainable, resilient systems that support and enhance the health of people and the natural world.
How are you currently involved in the Transition movement?
I work with the Biodynamic Farming and Gardening Association to support aspiring and existing biodynamic farmers, gardeners, educators, eaters and enthusiasts through education, research and community building.
What skills, talents, and resources do you bring to the Transition movement?
I am skilled in and have taught organic and biodynamic farming and gardening, beekeeping, composting, holistic nutrition and permaculture. I also have skills in cooking, food preservation, sewing, pottery, consensus facilitation, and the art of hosting.
Which topics within Transition most interest you, and what are you most interested in getting out of your involvement in the Transition Movement?
I'm interested in anything that involves food, community and/or creativity.

I am Director of Programs with the Biodynamic Farming and Gardening Association.

Location: Bay View Library

Time: 6:00pm

Witness for Peace is organizing a People-to-People licensed trip that will allow U.S. citizens to legally travel to Cuba. This trip is designed for people who are interested on learning about the Cuban people, their education programs, political and social history and their historical and fascinating colonial landmarks. Participants will gain insights into Cuba’s life-long education; primary, secondary and universities. People will also be able to stroll through World Heritage cities and experience the rich heritage of music and dance that Cuba is renowned for.           http://www.witnessforpeace.org/

 

Trip is for Sept 14 through 24, 2014. Deposit due to apply is July 14th 2014
