The Wisconsin Permaculture Convergence aims to bring people together for one weekend to skill share, network and celebrate Permaculture. The event has accomplished these objectives in the past by offering sessions on a wide variety of topics such as keyline design, place-making, aquaponics, animal husbandry and many more. Profile Information

Why are you interested in the Transition movement?
My wife went through the training and I have actually been involved for a couple of years. Transition is among the building blocks I see as necessary to build a new society.
How are you currently involved in the Transition movement?
I have been working with Power Down for the past two years. Peg and I are managing our farm with a Permaculture philosophy. We are trying to start a Transition West Bend group.
What skills, talents, and resources do you bring to the Transition movement?
Experience since 1964 helping organize and being active in various movements for social change, environmental awareness and social justice. The list would not fit in this box. We have a farm, some knowledge, and some time.
Which topics within Transition most interest you, and what are you most interested in getting out of your involvement in the Transition Movement?

Time: 6:00pm

Witness for Peace is organizing a People-to-People licensed trip that will allow U.S. citizens to legally travel to Cuba. This trip is designed for people who are interested on learning about the Cuban people, their education programs, political and social history and their historical and fascinating colonial landmarks. Participants will gain insights into Cuba’s life-long education; primary, secondary and universities. People will also be able to stroll through World Heritage cities and experience the rich heritage of music and dance that Cuba is renowned for.           http://www.witnessforpeace.org/
