i Believe a Time will Come:

when people Listen and Learn from each Other. when Respect and Courtesy as a necessary component of Discourse becomes Commonplace. when Common Sense and Working towards the Common Good become Common Goals. when We all have an Understanding of what is Important in Everyones and Everythings continued Existence. when We Stop being Ruled by Our greed, fears and desires. when the "Bottom Line" is not the ultimate Arbiter Shaping every facet of life.

when it becomes Clear that Wealth is not measured in the pile of gold you've accumulated. when it's Understood that Having a huge "gold pile" while others have none is an Obscene Injustice. when we are Concerned that Everyone has Enough to survive. when we Understand that most Everyone will Assist in Creating Enough.

when We Understand that Growing food is not an industry. when We Understand that food propagation, preservation, storage and preparation are Essential Elements to Our Spirit and Survival. when We Understand that Soil Health is Essential for Human Health. when Gardening is raised up as something that most Understand and Participate in.

when Government truly Represents the Interests of the People. when People Understand that Their Interests are not separate from the Planets. when Everyone is Working to Maintain Clean air & water. when We become truly Integrated with the other living and non-living Beings we Share this precious space with.

when We learn to Bridge our differences and live in Community. when We Learn to Share and Realize that ownership is not necessary. when We learn that We need each other and that We are the Solution. when We stop measuring our Self Worth in home size, $ and toys.

when We Integrate learning and education. when science and religion are not antagonistic. when We
understand that We learn in different ways and touch Our Children with Wisdom. when We Teach understanding, critical thinking and collaboration.

when churches dispense healthy doses of Spirituality and preach about unity, compassion, love, peace and the brotherhood/sisterhood of Human Existence.

You Can Not make me a pessimist. Believing that significant Positive Change can and must occur makes me an Optimist. I believe Those wedded to the status quo will struggle but Others will Relish the act of Recreating and see the coming changes as Opportunity to do Better. Together we can Create that Shining Vision which is the first step to "Making it so."
