Sarah, thank you.  I really love all that you're doing in the community, and I am eager to connect to such initiatives as TM now that I've moved back into Milwaukee after living in East Troy for the past 3 years.

Rahula is the name that I go by outside of corp. world.  It was given to me by my Zen master.  Hello to you, I am so glad that people like you are here to connect with.

Hey Sarah!  Thanks for the welcome.  I am in Dr. Pavlik's class.  I am looking forward to hearing more about Transition Milwaukee.  It seems as thought there are a lot of ways to become involved.

Thanks for asking, Sarah. I was secretary of the BikeFed Board last year...sadly had to resign due to health issues (am back tin good health now).  Am anticipating some fine riding weather!  Dick

Thank you Sarah for sending me a message so fast!  I am excited to start getting involved!  I live on the northwest side of Wauwatosa (near capitol and 108th street).  I would love to get involved in your project.  I was also looking into volunteering at Growing Power.  I just need to get in contact with them.

Hi Sarah,

Thanks again for the orientation last night.  It was nice to meet the group!  I wanted to follow up and see how I can get involved in the Concordia Garden Food Forest.  Thanks!

Hi Sarah,

I am very interested in making kefir and heard you also make your own and possibly have some grains to spare. I'll be in Milwaukee this coming Thursday and attending the rain water harvesting study group in riverwest. I could pick them up then if you've got em'. Let me know! Hope all is well!

Thanks, Sarah. Although I live in Madison, I have connections in Milwaukee that I'd like to strengthen. Our Sustainability Leadership Program is taking a field trip over there on April 9.

Hi Sarah:

I'm a bit late in replying b/c your message got hung up in my spam folder. Yes, we've met. In fact (after you wrote this) we spoke at Third Thursday Theater last week. Great to meet you and I look forward to getting to know the rest of the group. So far I'm excited about the topics that have been discussed just in the last week since I joined the list.--Annie

Thanks for the warm greeting Sarah. I saw the article in the Bay View compass, and thought it to be a fantastic idea! I read the "The Long Emergency, surviving the end of oil. " by James Howard Kunstler as well as his book of fiction "World Made By Hand" about a world after oil and have been fascinated with this idea ever since. It seems Milwaukee is at the forefront now of urban farming and self sufficiency with Sweet Water, Growing Power, and now this group. I'm really excited to attend some of the events, and would like to reduce my carbon footprint and learn more. I'll see about the next hub meeting. Not sure of time and place, but I'll check it out.
